SEA also hosted its Annual Hackathon in January 2024, with a focus on sustainable transportation. A total of 35 U of T undergraduate students participated in the Hackathon, who worked in 6 distinct groups to come up with solutions to improve the transportation industry and promote decarbonization and sustainability in the industry. 3 judges from both academia and industry participated in the Hackathon, and the winning teams received gift vouchers as a gift as well as mentorship was provided to further explain their ideas.
